But, beloved, we are convinced of better things regarding you, and things that accompany salvation, even though we are speaking in this way. For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, by having served and by still serving the saints.  Hebrews 6:9-10

Interest Groups (Workshops)

David Rice - “The Flood of Noah's Day”

Interest Group Synopsis:  We will discuss also Peter's mention of it in 1 Peter 3:20,21, and how the days and times marked in the flood narrative connect with salvation in Christ, for the Church now, and for the world in the Kingdom.

Colin Larose - Genesis 1 controversies -- and solutions ”

Interest Group Synopsis: Genesis 1 is a major focus of skeptics who attack the faith of grade school students, pointing out how ridiculous it is to believe in a book that says the universe is some 6000-years old.
But have they read the text itself?

Allan Crawford - "Eye on the prize."

Interest Group Synopsis:  Helping each other to keep our focus on our inheritance. That inheritance is ultimately our God. The only way there is the Way, Truth and Life that God has provided.

Jeff Hausmann – Valuing the Covenants

Interest Group Synopsis: C'mon, what's not to like about contract language!?

Don't worry, this is about simplifying and understanding the major covenants and how they apply to our own personal lives and eventually to everyone else in the world.  No legal training required.

Woman to Woman

Valerie Weeks - May Your Joy Be Complete"

Interest Group Synopsis:  Anxiety, depression, weariness, and disappointment seem to be the classic descriptors of life these days. And many days, we can lack a sense of joy.  Jesus said that life doesn't have to be this way. On the night before his crucifixion, He told his disciples: "I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!" John 15:11.

During our time together, we will look at the things that lead to an overflowing joy in Jesus.
