Interest Groups (Workshops)
Friday
Interest
Group Synopsis: What
are some of the profound things that Jesus taught and how did the Apostle Paul
struggle to follow them? What methods did the Apostle employ to teach what
Jesus taught? For example, how did Jesus confront the Pharisees and how did
Paul then continue to do the same? Come with me to connect the dots between a
shepherd and his precious disciple and look with me through the window of Jesus
into the mirror of the Apostle Paul...and find ourselves.
Interest Group Synopsis: This is a discussion of how and why we have the current 66 books
in most of our Bibles by means of history, the witness of Judaism and the early
church, and through self-authentication. It will also include a challenge
to current controversies and skepticism on the authenticity of some or all of
these writings.
Saturday
Interest Group Synopsis: The subject draws from Acts 27:8, a stopping point en-route on Paul's journey to Rome. The study itself will be about our progression toward the Kingdom, the experiences the church and world have gone through to this point, and what lies ahead.
